The Family Child Care Connections Program of Evanston has been bringing families and dedicated Family Childcare Providers together since 1972.

Family Child Care Connections is a unique infant and toddler program consisting of experienced Family Childcare Providers licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and contracted with our pre-school program, the Child Care Center of Evanston. Our family childcare homes are located in Evanston and Skokie and serve families living or working in and around Chicago, Evanston, Skokie and other neighboring communities. |

Our program consists of individual Family Childcare Providers that bring a diverse range of experience, education and cultures to the program. Family Child Care Connections contracts with Family Childcare Providers that are Accredited by the National Association for Family Childcare (NAFCC) have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, the Child Development Credential (CDA), and/or have a significant number of years of experience working with young children and their families. The majority of Family Childcare Providers have worked with us for more than seven years. All Family Childcare Providers have completed course work in Early Childhood Education and are required by DCFS to complete a minimum of 15 hours of in-service training each year. |

We understand that placing your child in someone else's
care can be stressful. Family Child Care Connections administration works closely with
the Family Childcare Providers to assist you in finding the "right
fit" for you and your family.
